Stephen Dewey
Steve Dewey has 40 years of experience in both the private and public sectors, including over 10 years of international business work with American companies in Asia. His time in Asia included investment due diligence and business development roles in multiple countries for major American investment groups, including Lehman Brothers, Goldman Sachs, and GE Capital during the Asian Financial Crisis.
More recently, his career included about nine years with the FDIC during and after the US financial crisis from 2008 to 2017. In 2019, he founded the Washington, DC chapter of the Bastiat Society, a program of the American Institute for Economic Research (AIER) promoting the principles of free market economics and limited government. He also writes on public policy issues on Substack and The American Spectator. Steve Dewey earned his BA degree from Grove City College and his MBA degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
