Nick Pietrowicz is the Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Moldova. A career member of the Foreign Service, Mr. Pietrowicz is a Diplomatic Security Service Special Agent with previous overseas tours in Port au Prince, Kabul, N’Djamena, Luanda, Canberra, and Sarajevo. Mr. Pietrowicz was Embassy Chisinau’s Regional Security Officer from 2008-2011. He is an alumnus of the University of Pittsburgh and Temple University’s School of Law and was a State Department fellow at the Institute of World Politics in 2021. Mr. Pietrowicz has studied French, Portuguese, Russian, and Serbo-Croatian, and Romanian. In his free time, he enjoys running, reading, and exploring America.
