Carrie Filipetti
Carrie Filipetti is Executive Director of the Vandenburg Coalition, a non-partisan network of foreign policy leaders that believes a strong America is a safe America, advancing a strong and proud American foreign policy. She founded and grew the organization from idea to a seven-person organization with briefings to over 400 Congressional and candidate offices, a newsletter reaching nearly 10,000 recipients, regular press and public events, and an over 120-person expert advisory board.
Carrie has testified before Congress and briefed elected representatives on issues ranging from Chinese influence to Iran and the Middle East. She has published articles and appeared in person on many media sites including the National Review, Fox News, the Washington Examiner, and the National Interest. In 2024, she was named a Maverick Pac Future40 winner, recognizing the 40 top future conservative leaders in the United States.
In the first Trump Administration, Carrie was Deputy Assistant Secretary of State in the Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs and Deputy Special Representative for Venezuela. Previously, she was a Senior Policy Advisor for the Middle East, Western Hemisphere, and Counterterrorism, and served as Ambassador Haley’s policy representative on the Middle East, Western Hemisphere, and Counterterrorism at USUN.
